Wolfgang Voigt präsentiert »Rückverzauberung« live

Mit Wolfgang Voigt und Ulf Langheinrich präsentiert die CYNETART einen kleinen Ausblick auf die kommende Festivalausgabe. Am 28. Juli präsentiert Wolfgang Voigt sein Ambient-Projekt „Rückverzauberung“.

Im Anschluss wird Ulf Langheinrich eines seiner exklusiven, hypnotisierenden Live-Konzerte zum Besten geben.

Mit den beiden Künstlern treffen zwei Persönlichkeiten im Festspielhaus aufeinander, die jeder auf seine Weise, ihre Spuren in der internationalen Musiklandschaft als auch in der Medienkunst hinterlassen haben. Im November dieses Jahres, im Rahmen des CYNETART-Festivals (15.-21.11. 2012), werden die beiden Künstler ihre neuesten Kreationen vorstellen, darunter die Weltpremiere von Ulf Langheinrichs „MOVEMENT C“.

Everything Is Music

Der Ostersonntag steht im Alten Wettbüro im Zeichen des Mutes. Denn in der Ära des digitalen Zeitalters ist es mutig, sich bei der Produktion elektronischer Musik ausschließlich der analogen Technik zu bedienen. Und das tun die die beiden schwedischen Technomusiker Joel Alter und Henrik Jonsson. Und so ist es nur konsequent, wenn sie ihr Debütalbum „Mod“ benennen – was im schwedischen soviel wie Mut bedeutet.

Alter und Jonsson, die beide über Jahre glaubten nur allein im stillen Kämmerlein gute Tracks produzieren zu können, stammen aus der gleichen Gegend in Schweden. Doch erst in Berlin lernten sie sich kennen - bei der Begutachtung eines analogen Synthies. Schon dabei fassten sie den Entschluss zusammenzuarbeiten. Seither eint sie unter anderem ihre unterschwellige Kritik an der Laptop-Produzentenkultur. Die äußert sich in Statements wie „We just don’t work with bars“, aber auch in ihrem Sound. Über den sagt Henrik Jonsson: „Wir wollten keinen klinisch reinen Sound, sondern etwas Nebligeres, Wärmeres schaffen.“

Mit diesem Ansinnen sind Jonsson/Alter im Alten Wettbüro richtig aufgehoben und dürften – auch wenn ihr Albumtitel nichts mit der britischen Jugendbewegung der 50er und 60er Jahre zu tun hat – doch für eine bewegte Jugend der Jetztzeit sorgen.

Immernoch Place du Panthéon, eines Abends, magnetische Straßen, Sound, spaet. Hier entsteht durch die Rekonstruktion der ersten verwirrten Indifferenz, ueber die fortan nicht mehr gesprochen wird, das Wagnis sich eines eigenen Verstandes zu bedienen. Die Dauer dieser in Abwesenheit verbrachten Gedanken wird von jeher genauso wahrgenommen wie Naehe und Distanz zum foucaultschen Pendel.

Nîmes_ ist ein Sound Art Projekt zwischen Anne Seidel und Thomas Dumke welches sich in die Littérature stuerzt.
Zwischen den beiden: die subjektive Patrone, Dichtung, der expressionistische Film! So wie es André Breton formuliert hat: Die Schoenheit wird KONVULSIV sein oder sie wird nicht sein.

mirror

mirror is an interconnected installation with two spaces. it plays with the mirror image of ourselves. at the moment of entering the installation my own image is send to the other space and will appear in an abstract form on the walls and vice versa. we’ll see just a contour, no face or details.

mirror is forcing us to get involved with the counterpart, to create a common movement or gesture, to adjust to the observer in the other space. therefore we need a certain empathy for our opponent. with the image of the allegedly strange counterpart we’re tempted, and within the setup “forced“, to allow for our instinct to go - or not - for common feelings and movements. without any (spoken) agreements.
thus we link to our archetypal human manner of imitation, egality and as the counterpart, the indiviualism.

after the long CYNETART weekend, we would like to give you a forecast for the rest of the week. the CYNETART weekend was dominated by the automatic clubbing events on friday with the TRAXX, ANNI HALL, ZERKALO and a wonderful dj set by Veronica Vasicka. and on saturday the uncanny valley showcase with special appearance of ONY AYHUN and great visuals by MFO and intolight.

but its not finished…
after one day break on monday the CYNETART will present two great project in the evening. one is particle by DFUSE and the second one is DIRFT - a film by Ulf Langheinrich.

and the last day, wednesday (17th) Francisco López will give us an insight in his latest music productions. López Immersive Sound is a multichannel concert where the guest have to cover their eyes. just listen… and don´t forget these dates.
